Back in May of 2015, a video was making its round on the web showing a pair of young rats being shamed by a Chinese man for gnawing on his hard-earned money. This September, a followup video appears. (You can easily identify his voice and accent even for non-Chinese speakers.)

The title of the video was 'Chinese guy puts rats on trial' and jives well with the previous story. If you watch both videos, you can easily identify the man's accent and the same pair of rats. However, some writeups about this video tell a different story.

According to them, the video was taken from an unnamed restaurant. The concept was to tie two rats onto the bottle of beer, then the visitors would poke the rats and make them bite each others' flesh. The grisly end would be that they would clash the bottle together, and whoever has the rat that survives will be the winner.

Whichever story you choose to believe, the acts seen on the videos are clearly barbaric in nature and an example of humanity lost.

It's also very stupid how some people would comment that this is even funny at all. If people are not fond of rats, wouldn't it be better if they just left these poor creatures or any animal alone?
