2019.10.26 - Re-written from scratch and super-condensed
Having been very pleased with my BYS Palette in Olive Daze, I decided to try another one a year later. So now we have a BYS Metallics Eyeshadow in Browns. This palette retails for a shockingly cheap PhP 299.00 (shocking, because BYS palettes usually sell around 600+ Pesos!).
It gives me a set of super-metallic nude colors in a simple packaging. Warning, this palette is super prone to powdery fallouts and has a strong soapy scent. There seems to be big metallic particles instead of super fine powder, but we can get past that once you see how dazzling the finish looks. The eyeshadow is surprisingly super super long lasting (no primer), and seems to stick even more the oilier my eyelids become. The colors will last all day, there is nothing more you will ask for.
The color selection does not make sense and kinda redundant. Maybe it would be good to cover everything if instead they had a shimmery pearly white shade, a deep semi-matte shadow shade, and the four others would be a mid-tone variants of bronze, gold, earthy chocolate or a champagne-brown.
Overall, this is a great find!
