I made a short educational video showing how much importance rats put on cleanliness. There's nothing much going on in the video, except I wanted you to see things from my perspective.
My model or actor for this video is Milan. Her grandparent Thor is an authentic wild rat, while her father Thoriel was captively bred. I guess she's still a wild rat in many ways.

I have observed that rats dedicate at least around 30 minutes everyday to grooming themselves. It's contrary to popular myth that rats are filthy and unclean creatures. Shame, some of us don't even take a shower everyday!
