2019 will end in two weeks, and how time flies! After attending the Philippine launch event of Gorgeous Cosmetics in December 2013 (2013 pa ito!), they gave us some take home products to experience. One of them was the Gorgeous Lipstick in Jelly Bean... I'm still super grateful after all these years that they gave me this lovely shade.
Gorgeous Cosmetics is a premium cosmetics brand from Australia, and is exclusively distributed by Orangebox Corporation here in the Philippines. During the launch event, it was mentioned that this brand would be a hit in the Philippine market because it works well under our warm climate and that it's very promising makeup artists to work with. Gorgeous Cosmetics currently has a shop located in 2F Eastwood Mall (near Bench), but they also plan to expand this year specifically in premium malls. (UPDATE: They now have new branches in SM Aura and SM Mall of Asia.)
Right from the box down to the packaging, Gorgeous Cosmetics Lipstick is just pure elegance. The lipstick has a very faint chocolate-vanilla aroma and I super-super love the scent!!! Jojoba esters, Vitamins C & E, and Sesame Seed Oil help keep my lips luscious and moisturized without looking like greasy drooling lips. Despite its moisturizing creaminess, this baby lasts the whole day even after a heavy oily meal. Swear. It sticks like tattoo, and one time I tried to remove it during our makeover but my lips look so vibrantly brand new!
The shade they gave me (they are mind readers!) is called Jelly Bean. It's a divine cranberry-violet shade and you know that I'm crazy for purples and violets. Wuhu! Thank you again Gorgeous!
