After a year or longer of not buying makeup anymore, here I am with an eggplant-purple lipstick called 'Aphrodite' and a perfect everyday nude-pink called 'Aura'. Next time, I'm eyeing the 'Juno', a darker gothic shade. The colors are simply wonderful! Many many years ago around 2011, I remember complaining that local makeup were limited to reds, browns/nudes and pinks. Thank you so much for giving us plenty of choices today!

The packaging is already super cute and comes with a neat applicator. The liquid inside is viscous and not runny so there are no spills. The consistency here is that of a creamy matte lipstick. I prefer this over the truly matte liquid lipsticks because they can be too drying and once dried they accentuate the cracks on your lips, while this one you can just put it on with a carefree swipe and enjoy the rest of the day without feeling dry. This lipstick is long lasting for the whole day. But like any other lipstick out there, you need to touch-up after eating an oily meal. Remember, oily stuff is the number one enemy of liquid lipstick!

Brush or exfoliate the lips before wearing any liquid lipstick so they would wear smoothly. Like mascara, DO NOT PUMP the applicator inside the tube. This will introduce air, bacterial growth and faster deterioration of your product. You can use the thinner tip of the applicator as your lip pencil to draw the edges of your lips.
