Here in our neighborhood, you can find Andok's around the corner of Mayon Avenue and NS Amoranto (formerly Retiro), and just in front of Mercury Drugstore. I remember vividly there used to be a stall of chicharon bituka stand in its place before Andok's opened here around the late 2000s (2008-ish).
At the time I originally wrote this post in March 2014, I would occasionally buy this on my way to work. Because the Dokito's are huge and crispy and meaty and delicious. It is very juicy and full but not greasy or oily. Maganda ang timpla nila. Masarap pa isabay sa beer kahit walang rice.
Isang Dokito lang I feel very full. Super sulit naman din kahit dalawang piraso ang order ko kung feel ko mag pig-out, but two is already very generous at hindi ko ito maubos. It was 20 Pesos from 2009-2010, then 40 Pesos each back in 2014.
They had a promo of "5-pieces Dokito Chicken bucket with a free 1.5 liter Pepsi (P225)" back in 2014 when I wrote this. Prices have changed and as of October 2019, is already 57 Pesos each Dokito. I have regrets and wished to have taken advantage of the retail price back then and buy five pieces for 200 back then. Mas mura pa rin compared sa fastfood.

Update 21 March 2024: Five year after my last update. Since the pandemic, it's crazy how everything you see in groceries and the market have already doubled in these four years alone, particularly noticeably since 2022. Anyway, since 2020, the prices of Dokitos have steadily increased from 60 to 70 to 80 and back down to 70.

The Spicy Dokito was newly launched in July 2019 and I first got very curious about it when I saw it for the first time months ago sa LRT Blumentritt branch nila. It was really hot and spicy and gives a strong warming kick to the senses, but not a burning sensation kaya tamang tama lang ang timpla. Still the same crunchy big chicken, still the delicios Dokito, but this time a spicier and headier version for the bold ones!
