"In the eyes of a child, mother is god."
~Silent Hill
Mother's Day is just around the corner. Sometimes the best way of saying thank you is through simple things like food. Andok's was very generous to sponsor and I picked their Liempo (PhP 169.00) and Litson Manok (PhP 225.00). [These prices were as of May 2014.]
Why Andok's? Because it's unquestionable that we Filipinos love liempo and litson manok, don't we? It has a very Filipino flavor that appeals to us. Not just afford, it's more than enough for the family... large enough to last from dinner to lunch the next day.
It doesn't matter what day it is, whether it's a special occasion or just your regular everyday time with the family. There's always an Andok's around the neighborhood, with their wide offering of Filipino favorites that you can give to mother as a simple way of saying thank you.
Just to name another of my favorite, it's the Andok's Dokito Chicken. It's only PhP 40.00 (2014 price) for one big piece, sometimes I grab one on my way to work and it makes me super giddy. They have a promo of "5-pieces Dokito Chicken bucket with a free 1.5 liter Pepsi (P225)". What I love about their Dokito Chicken is that they're very large and tasty but not greasy. Which is why I think it's more sulit than the smaller ones served in fastfood.
Have you tried Andok's already?
