Gorgeous Cosmetics Australia invited us for their Philippine launch event in June 2014. After their demo and presentation, they gave us some products to take home and experience. One of them was the Gorgeous Base Perfect Liquid Foundation (2Y-BP).
Checking their website this 2019, the packaging and shade names look totally different from the original all-black version I have here. The cream that pumps out of the tube has a very strong lemony-leather scent. I loved that scent very much and wish it could be a perfume to wear! The foundation contains Vitamins A and E, and is free from parabens. Aside from being good for photography, it is also good for the skin.
Their system catagorizes skin shades into Neutral (N), Neutral Beige (NB), Beige (B), Yellow (Y) and Dark (D). The shade I own is 2Y-BP. You can easily guess it's yellow undertone, Shade #2, and BP is product code for Base Perfect. Although the undertone is perfect for my light golden-beige skin tone, the shade looks like one notch darker than mine.
You get a medium coverage with a powdery matte finish that looks like a flawless my skin but better look. The consistency is the perfect creamy texture, not too thick, not runny, not greasy. It is very easy to apply and blend into my skin and stays like a gorgeous finish for hours even after sweating and my skin is naturally oily.
PS. Gorgeous Cosmetics originally had its first store in Eastwood Mall. As of May 2014 they now have new branches in SM Aura and SM Mall of Asia.
