October 2013, I was given a box of Garnier products as prize for winning a writing contest. Among the many products in the box was the Garnier Multi-Action Whitening Cream in three variants -- 8-Hour Shine-Free Look, Extra UV Protection, and Night Cream.
'8-Hour Shine-Free Look'

The '8-Hour Shine-Free Look' variant is a whitening cream that promises matte finish, oil control, whiten skin, lighten scars. Thanks to ingredients like Salicylic Acid, lemon essence, niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Vitamin E, silicones to keep the skin matte, and aluminum starch (???). This variant gives a delicious mango sansrival cake vibes and gives me a big smile. Used on its own, my face glows with radiance but stays matte for 3 hours, which becomes dewy afterwards. (I have oily skin.) Minsan adding pressed powder on top of it is good to get through the day.

Garnier's Multi-Action Whitening Cream 'Extra UV Protection' was created for daytime wear. This product oozes with a delicious buttery-lemon scent to give good vibes all day. Kulang na lang tinapay.
It promises to make the skin fairer, tighten pores, fade dark spots, even out skin tone, and create a glowing effect as early as 14 days of use. Aside from that, it also has the benefits of SPF 17 PA++, Vitamin C, Lemon Extract, and Snowpine.
I've been using it since irregularly since I got this product on November 2013. The immediate effects I noticed were: 1) firmer skin, 2) no-shine non-greasy finish, 3) moisturizing, 4) creates a glowing skin effect, 5) Skin feels softer and visibly fairer the next day.
After a month of use, I noticed that the scars on my face (from shaving or little pimples) faded out more quickly than normal. I also like how it brightens my skin on the long run... not the pale bleached effect of most whitening products. With everyday use, this tube is good for around 2 - 3 months.
This day cream is best worn without makeup because it is super rich and dewy.

Last variant is the night cream. It leaves a light dewy moist effect on my skin. This variant has a liqudy consistency and easily absorbed into the skin. After a week of use, I noticed my face began to have a nice rosy glow, it is golden beige by default.
