[It was the first time I visited them in 23 January 2015, been wanting to go there for a long time. The little story is that as of 21st January ay we had to break it off and to mourn for a week all. Kaya naisip ko kumain somewhere. I was feeling greatly morose that day when I arrived.]

Redragon Buffet & Quickmeal is an affordable buffet restaurant located along Retiro in La Loma Quezon City. It could accommodate 70-80 persons at any one time. They also have an extended section, a mini-bar for bubble milk tea. For those who may be interested, the minimum to book for a reservation is 50 persons.

Lunch/Dinner Buffet is P198 per head. Their food offering consists of Chinese, Japanese and Filipino cuisine. According to them, customers can expect something new every week because they change it weekly.

Dining out alone in a buffet restaurant is what I call MEDITATION. I arrived early for dinner buffet at 5.30pm and didn't know what to expect as a walk-in customer. When I saw some of the dishes on display I knew it was gonna be a fun experience. You may add P35 for unlimited juice or iced tea. I'm a diehard fan of sweets so we began with sweet banana chips. I had to skip the fish and vegetables to allow room for the other dishes.

The first thing on my mind are the dimsum. The sweet flavor of pork, and meat steamed to tender juicy perfection -- I don't think I need soy sauce. Litson Kawali is 2nd on my list. although it wasn't greasy or had any funky oily scent, the skin was a little too crunchy and takes a little effort to chew. But hey, I loved this dish!

The McJolly Chicken is very soft, its meat is very creamy and melts like butter while chewing. Barbeque is must-try when you visit them!!! The Pancit Canton has a very mellow flavor. The Garlic Rice is a cup full of bliss. The last dish that I ate was the Salad.

If I remember correctly they opened around 2010/11. Sadly, they have closed around 2017. I wanted to visit them again for the fourth time. We miss you Redragon in Retiro! T_T
