Yoshinoya's SM MOA branch was newly renovated and finally re-opened on March 26 (Wednesday). There were celebrities as well as special guests from the Japanese Embassy. The welcome speech was presented by Yoshinoya's president Mr. Timothy Yang, followed by a short conference with bloggers and the media. Lunch was served to bloggers around 11 am and the door was finally opened to customers by 12 noon.
They served us with Yoshinoya's signature Gyudon (Beef Bowl), Kani Shu Mai, Tiramisu and Red Iced Tea. Their Gyudon consists of steamy rice poured with broth, topped with strips of beef, and a slice of onion. The recipe has been the same since Yoshinoya was founded in 1899. As for the Kani Shu Mai, it has a soft mellow taste, packed with meaty pork. Then the Tiramisu was a very creamy sweet dessert to finish off our blessed meal.
Yoshinoya's meals are swak to the budget and don't cost more than P200. It's a great place for you and your friends or family to hang out because of the affordable price, nice ambiance and spacious design. The Yoshinoya branch located in SM Mall of Asia is located in Unit 107, Ground Floor, North Wing (outside the mall, near McDonald's).
