How are you everyone! Wow, I haven't been updating this blog since November 2023, it's been quiet for a long time. Let me introduce to you this brand of cat food called PetYum. I discovered this brand when someone donated cat food to me. I found the address written on their label and nasa kanto lang namin ang warehouse nila.

In the Shopee app, ang total na binayaran ko lang is 845 Pesos including free shipping after applying the vouchers. Lumalabas na 85 Pesos na lang per kilo ng cat food. Malaking tulong ito sa akin dahil I now have over 20 rescue cats at home. The population exploded around 2021 and I've been looking for ways to sustain this advocacy. Now, mainly through my inspired perfume business called 'Luna and Sol Fragrances', which were named after my two buddy cats.

Now on to PetYum Cat Food. It comes in a convenient 10 kilogram bag. Not all of us can afford 20 kilograms, and this is just perfect. Maganda pagkabalot nila during shipping... may bubble wrap, may kahon, and meron pa isang sack to protect the actual product. That's alot of love!

Itong 10 kilogram bag has a zip lock seal kaya convenient ito dahil you don't have to pour everything sa several tubs or drum. For me, I only pour out 3 kilograms into the tub para hindi palagi binubuksan yung bag and keep the remaining products fresh.

For my over 20 rescue cats, they consume at least 3 kilograms (idealy 4-5 kilos dapat pero wala nga tayo budget). Ito ang bare minimum para makakain sila twice a day. Sad nga ako dahil sa sobrang dami nila pumapayat naman sila sa kakulangan ng food. Most of my rescues here wala naman gusto mag adopt?

Lahat ng bagong cat food na brand ay tinitikman ko before giving it to them. Maganda itong PetYum dahil the kibbles are smaller than normal size, and while crunchy, easily crumbles when I chew it. Hindi masakit sa ngipin. It has a nice chicharon smell (Seafood Feast variant) and I can taste somewhat of fried duck (it does contain duck, look at the ingredients!). Hindi maalat ang PetYum kaya I am confident to give it to my cats. May mga na try ako na others before... either sobrang tigas they wont break when I chew, or sobrang alat.

Advice ng veterinary doctor sa akin noon na from then on daw dapat palagi haluan ng water ang food nila, minsan kasi hindi sila umiinom and marami ako cases dito ng UTI, blocked bladder, and sadly led to kidney disease. The cats are better now since I've been doing that. In order to level up, I add malunggay water sa food nila. Take note na you should not add raw malunggay powder sa food nila dahil 1) it will upset their stomach (hindi sila herbivores) and 2) may mga antinutrients ito which might harm them.
