Ladies and gentlemen... introducing a new product from Garnier, the "PureActive Fruit Energy Energizing Facial Wash"! This product is not yet out in the market and was only introduced via the BDJ Social Primp and Prettify Event held on September 29, 2013 at the Skydome SM North EDSA. It's not out in the market yet and my wild guess is that a tube of this (50mL) would retail at 150 Pesos. [UPDATED October 28: I guessed right, it's 159 Pesos and now available in stores!] 

The product claims to:

AHA & BHA

This product contains AHA (alpha hydroxy acids derived from fruits) and BHA (derived from salicylic acid for anti-aging and to fight acne). AHA helps to exfoliate the skin surface, eliminating dead skin cells and giving you a fresh radiant glow. BHA on the other hand, works its wonder beneath the skin. This action makes it perfect to cleanse pores from deep under, and also fights pimples and acne from the roots. With both AHA and BHA, I can immediately feel the skin-deep cleansing and fresh effect on my face. The tip of my nose is a problem area whenever I wash my face because it gets extra oily and difficult to remove the sebum and whiteheads. Thanks to this product, it makes my face instantly squeaky clean without resorting to scraping the skin.

Here are some other noteworthy ingredients:

✔ Palmitic acid - from palm oil

✔ Lauric acid (anti-microbial) - derived from coconut, laurel, or palm kernel oil

FRUITY GOODNESS

Garnier includes a delicious symphony of ingredients like Citrus grandis extract (Pomelo, which is an oversized type of Grapefruit), Eucalyptus globulus leaf extract (Tasmanian Blue Gum), Limonene (from citrus fruits), Linalool (from flowers and spices), and Punica granatum (Pomegranate). Upon opening the tube, you can already feel invigorated with the fresh citrus scent, and it even smells more energizing once you're already lathering it.

CONCLUSION

This product is 100% instant love! Once I started using it for my morning shower routine, it really got me hooked that I can't go to work without using this in the morning. It really uplifts my mood, given that I live a dark miserable and anguished life with no love or warmth whatsoever (emo ang peg!). Even on a rainy day, this product can still make the sun shine for me. It's also great for use at night to fully remove my makeup and also to remove dirt.

For me, what makes this product different from other facial wash is the fruity scent. Most of them smell like chemical, but its refreshing citrus scent I welcome any day of the week. It's also great for those with acne, pimples or oily skin because it deeply cleanses the skin in an instant without leaving it feeling dry or tight afterwards. Just wait until the product becomes available in stores!
