April 2012 was when I bought from the department store this Nichido Powder Plus Foundation in Tender Honey. In comparison to their other powders and from other local brands too, it looks like a thoughtful premium packaging, even including a beautiful pouch with the already beautiful packaging. Sadly, refills are not available so you will have to discard and buy new compacts every time... think of the environment.

Take note, nakakatuwa lang to know that everything is made in the Philippines. All other local brands usually made in China, Taiwan or Europe. It's proudly Filipino!

It gives sheer coverage used dry, and stronger coverage used wet. Not cakey and drying. The powder feels ultra-fine and silky soft -- gives my skin a refined glowing finish. No zits ever occurred using it. It needs to be improved with regard to blending, some areas look patchy no matter what.

The shade I owned was Tender Honey. The shade did not look like a chalky grey finish, but rather still very pale on my skin. Their other powders are also like that, always too light for Asian skin tone. The assistants always explain that they are lighter to accommodate acidic skin, which will make the foundation to darken later in the day. Uhm... okay.

Unfortunately, performance is not good either. It leaves matte powdery finish for a good two hours, but you will need to re-apply often particularly if you are outdoor. Not a good choice for oil control. Maybe good for photoshoots. I hope they would change their shades to be perfect match for Filipino skin colors like local department/drugstore brands such as San San does best, FS/F21, Jazzy, or Ever Bilena. Thank you!

Great: for photoshoots, silky powdery matte finish, thoughtful packaging, all made in the Philippines!
Against: poor oil control and lasting power, any shades are too pale
