Soft thin crunchy crust is the first impression that I get when eating at the Royal Jamaican Caribbean Patty located at the 5th Floor of Market Market Mall in Taguig. Their stall is located just beside the Cinema area, but it's large enough to accommodate groups of 10. The place is a little warm but there's electric fan to cool, and the mall's air-conditioning slowly sets in once you're seated.
It was September 27th when I visited, my expectation was thick hard crust like those of pies. But actually, the crust were thin enough so you immediately get into the action, and I like that it actually makes me feel the chewiness of its fillings. You taste the filling, not the crust. Just the way I like it.
For the drinks, I ordered Four Seasons and Mango Shake. Each cup retails at P55, but you get what it's worth because you can really taste the essence of the fruit, and it isn't loaded with sugar. Just fruity goodness lang talaga.
For the meals, I ordered Baked Macaroni, Beef Jerky (Classic) and Cheeze Burst Jerkey (Premium). All of them were heated in the oven after I ordered them. Actually, I should have told the staff not to heat anymore because I prefer my food at room temperature hehe... and besides, I was dying to take a bite na! The first dish I tried was Baked Macaroni, with a very savory cheese flavor. The top part was a little dry due to the heating but underneath is a chewy and creamy cheese macaroni. Love is all I can say.
The Beef Jerky is a mild hot flavor and I specifically chose this because it's in between mild and hot. It's good, but I'm about to rave for the Cheeze Burst Jerky which you all must try! It's also mild hot and overloaded with cheeze. Grabe, this was my favorite. Every bite was bursting with cheese.
