There are 4 variants to Pixy's powder foundations. The Pixy Ultimate Makeup Cake is well-suited for oily skin since it has the longest staying power of them all (according to product description). It's your typical rectangle shaped compact with separate compartment for the sponge and the cake.
The cake has a creamy texture, a light powdery scent, and does not have powdery fallout when using brush. It has a thick coverage, so I prefer to use it dry. Oil control is great and achieves shine-free matte look up to 5 hours without re-applying. It also holds well when I sweat a lot on a hot afternoon. Looks fine with flash photography and even on national TV!
SPF 20 PA++ helps to fight the aging effects of UV rays. Squalane and Jojoba Seed oil help to keep the skin moisturized and young. Pachyrhizus erosus root extract is popularly known as Singkamas here in the Philippines. This is the first time I heard this ingredient in makeup, but it's actually a skin conditioning agent.
Lastly, the Natural Buff shade is 'okay'. It has a neutral undertone and wears lighter on my light golden-beige skin tone. It improves as the day progresses.
Great: performance, oil control, flawless finish, coverage
Neutral: limited shades
