Kokuru is well-known for their skin care line and has been around the Philippines since the 1960s. Nagtataka lang ako why nobody's writing about them? Kaya naisip ko lang din subukan ang skin care products nila since I also wanted something local yet exotic that you don't find in neighborhood drugstores or convenience stores.
Kokuryu Soft Lotion contains Glycerin (moisturizing) and Allantoin (anti-inflammatory) and has a beautifully fragrant floral scent. The liquid feels like mere water and does not leave stinging sensation (great for sensitive skin). It is very suitable for those in their 30+ and also for normal to dry skin. I have oily skin, but instead of going for their AST Lotion, decided on this one. Oily skin is our body's defense mechanism to over-compensate for dryness. Keeping my naturally oily skin always moisturized helps minimize those crazy oil secretions during the day.
It's a sulit purchase and I hope that more people will discover and review this fragrant product.

Toner is a different product to be used after cleansing. Its purpose is to pickup dirt that was still left behind after cleansing. It removes dead skin cells after exfoliating and then also adds hydration, which is what people know it for.
