My skin was experiencing an unusual period of extreme dryness and prompted me to look for something super rich to try in August 2013. There, I found the Kokuryu Placenta Anti-Aging Cream, targeted for people in their 30s and for those with dry skin, and contains Vitamin E and cow placenta. The store assistant advised that it can also be used as a makeup remover.
The one I bought comes its in brand new packaging na kalalabas lang at the time, according to the assistant. It looks like one giant bottle with plenty of content, and one pot is good for 6 months with everyday use.
When you screw open the bottle, you will be greeted by a nice earthy-fruity scent that lies somewhere between banana cake and dried persimmon. It made me smile all the way to my ears.
The cream is very very rich and greasy (contains mineral oil and petrolatum), which is why it is best to let it sit overnight on your skin to do its repair while you sleep. Massage the product on your face starting from the center then going to an outward motion. I highly suggest to avoid the eye area. I woke up the next day and wiped off with tissue paper. My skin felt very refreshed, super soft and elastic.
On my fifth month of using it daily, I noticed an improvement on my skin and it was not as extremely dry before.
