"Japan's 1st water-based makeup remover brand is now known as BIFESTA (previously known as Cleansing Express). "BI" means 美 or Beauty in Japanese while "FESTA" is an abbreviation of Festival. Together, BIFESTA means Beauty Festival, a celebration of beauty where beautiful skin can be achieved quickly, easily & joyfully with effective, fuss-free makeup removal."
Bifesta Water-Based Cleansing Lotion comes in four variants in 300mL bottles. The size of the bottle is big enough to last for around two months with daily use.
The liquid has a bit of sweet coconut milk scent which adds charm to the product. The 'Sebum' (Green Tea extract, for Combination to Oily skin) clears my skin instantly and leaves a tight poreless look. The 'Moist' (Soy Extract, recommended for Dry to Normal skin) leaves a more pampered moisturized beneath the skin feeling. I like the Moist version more of the two. The other variants I have not used yet are 'Bright Up' (Saxifrage extract, for Combination and Dull skin), and 'Age Care' (CoQ10, recommended for Dry to Sensitive skin).
Having tried many makeup removers out there, which were oil-based and felt very icky as in kailangan pa mag wash ng face afterward, and then discovering the Bifesta -- I never looked back, ito na lang talaga! Bifesta makes the skin feeling very clean and totally removes all of my makeup, plus the deep moisturized feeling. I also use it as my liquid moisturizer after a shower.
