Haul from HBC Blumentritt branch, 16 June 2013. The San San Waterproof Long Lash Mascara with Vitamins A, C and E retailed at PhP125.00 at the time, and promised to make the lashes look longer. It is a silicone-based mascara and available in Brown and Black shades.
The mascara had a faint white glue odor like many mascaras out there. The applicator is made of rubber. The holding power is 10/10 and will make my lashes curl up to the skies without any smudge even with sweat or oily skin later in the day.
Does it really make the lashes longer? I applied single coat, waited to dry, then applied another. I don't see much improvement. Based on research, silicone-based mascara are great for waterproof performance, while wax-based ones are the go-to product for volumizing and lengthening.
For: If you want a waterproof mascara with great hold.
Against: If you are expecting thicker longer dramatic lashes.
