The Fashion 21 48-Color Eyeshadow Palette retails at PhP 375.00 when I bought one in early 2013. The folks at F21 were even very kind to send me two sets of the new version, released in July of 2013. There is little difference other than the better materials used, then colors split into a neutrals set, and a vivid set.

The shades have an equal distribution of matte and shimmer shades. The matte shades look better than the shimmer shades, which appear very chalky and colors don't show as much. Mysteriously, I also get fabric conditioner odor from the powder. There is no apparent change in the quality of the eyeshadow, same old. Lasting power is surprisingly good for a budget meal palette.

I would recommend this palette as a good introduction for kids or beginners who like to play around with colors. You get more on pearly quality of colors. Eventually, you will grow out of it and want stronger colors... turn to their FS Singles Eyeshadow, which to me is the best eyeshadow ever reviewed in this blog!
