Bought July 2012 after being impressed by the regular Shawill BB Cream. The Shawill Collagen BB Cream #2 is a silicone-based makeup. What silicone does is to act as a protective seal to keep all moisture underneath in place, but it can also be an occlusive on the skin.

My skin normally never has any breakouts when using makeup, and I've reviewed so many products for this blog. What this product did was make it feel hot, clogged, discolored, look unhealthy, dry after two weeks of use and zits (which rarely happens to me) gone crazy. It also has a weird chemical scent typical of other Shawill face products bought. What's with them???

The pasty consistency of the fluid feels weird on my skin. On the first hour, the finish looked nice. But hours passed and my face started to look pasty and chalky. Doesn't make the skin feel moisturized, very little blemish correction. Not even a trace of vitamins or healthy ingredients, just all chemicals. Aren't BB creams are supposed to be blemish balms loaded with nutritious ingredients for the skin?

After using this product, I became very skeptical and thought it was a mere silicone-based foundation claiming to be BB cream. Having re-written my blog reviews this October 2019, I can look back and say that this is the worst of the BB creams I've reviewed, and one of the worst products reviewed in this blog. Sorry dear, I'm just saying things as they are.

For: Price, long lasting, oil control
Neutral: No vitamins or healthy ingredients for the skin
Against: WHERE'S THE COLLAGEN?, foundation pretending to be BB Cream, makes skin breakout, trash product
