The Shawill Regular BB Cream #3 was bought in December 2011 and was among the early products I've reviewed for this blog (my beauty reviews began November 2011). It's 2019 now... time flies!
As a BB cream, one would expect it to be loaded with healthy ingredients. Aside from the usual chemicals, you can only see Vitamin E and shea butter. The shea butter has a moisturizing property but it does make the product a little bit dewy-greasy and less on the oil control though. Not oil control as claimed!
Around the time I bought it, what made it special was that it was available in four shades. Other BB creams always came in a single pale ashy shade, yuck! Although Shawill could really help buyers by naming their shades because I could not tell #2 from #3. Being wary of getting a pale shade, I got #3. The shade I picked perfectly matched my light golden-beige skin tone, but it had a tendency to oxidize quickly and turn into a tan ahaha
This product is best recommended for those with dry skin and mature crowd with wrinkles. You want moisture as much as possible and won't mind the dewy finish. The spill-free tube felt heavy and fully loaded, and then this cream had a delicious nutty scent. Sulit yung bili ko.
For: price, light on the skin, fully loaded, for dry/mature skin, 4 shades
Neutral: oil control
Against: easily oxidizes
