Luna has been having health problems and became a fickle eater. It became clear that I had to allocate more budget for his diet (we currently have 6 cat at home, 3 cats outside, most are rescue cats). When making the comparison, both products are identical with ingredients and nutritional content on the label... so it's just a matter of price, which is 10 Pesos difference.
Whiskas: Has a deep earthy liver spread scent, the content is finely ground to a paste and makes it easy to chew particularly if cats are weak or sick. This is a good product and Luna loves it. The Pet Plus Tuna+Chicken has similar consistency but more tender and moist and smells better. Luna likes it too and is my go-to can. If it's out of stock, then Whiskas is my alternative.
PP Tuna+Chicken: It has a light bacon/ham scent. The consistency is ground to a paste; it is softer and has more moisture than the Whiskas. Which is why this variant is perfect for cats who are weak to eat, the elderly, or sick. This is Luna's favorite variant.
PP Sardines+Chicken+Prawn: It also has a delicious meaty ham/bacon scent and comes with whole bits of firm meat, you know it's fresh! When I mash it with a spoon, the delicious scent emits so that I would love to eat it. Luna struggles a bit because of the whole bits of firm meat and sometimes he won't eat it. Luna is a picky eater and has difficulty chewing harder foods.
PP Seafood Platter In Salmon Jelly: It has a nice saline scent, as if you open a can of tuna in oil. However, my cats find it weird and rarely touch it. Not a single cat wants to touch it, they give that shaking their paws off after smelling it.
PP Tuna+Sardines+Shrimp in Salmon Jelly: Similar to the Tuna+Chicken which is made of soft, moist, pasty ground meat; there are additional chunks of sardines and salmon jelly. About 3/4 is meat and 1/4 is jelly.
CONCLUSION: Luna lets me know that the Tuna+Chicken is his favorite, the second is Tuna+Sardines. The Whiskas is similar although with less moisture.
