Did you know that Jesus Christ used cannabis oil to heal people? Cannabis was considered a sacred herb from Biblical times, mentioned many times as 'kaneh bosm' (ancient Hebrew words 'kaneh'=hemp, 'bosm'=aromatic). In the Old Testament, this sacred oil was only used by priests on high people like kings. It was only a breakthrough when Jesus used this sacred oil to heal COMMON people thus giving him a reputation as a healer.
Cannabis also served many uses aside from religious rites and healing. It was a source of food, it was disease-free clothing alternative to cotton (which releases tons of insecticides to the environment), and also as fuel that did not produce black smoke like petroleum (think: clean energy!). Among many others.
Thus gained the reputation as a million-dollar herb. However, in the 1930s, it became a threat to many industries including the paper mill and newspaper industry run by WILLIAM RANDOLPH HEARST. So he began to use media to demonize cannabis.
Later, CIA man HENRY ANSLINGER was responsible for many campaigns to further demonize cannabis to the masses by associating it with Latino, Asians and Blacks... thus they named it 'marijuana'. It became easier to brainwash the whites that way. Eventually, they won and laws were passed to ban this sacred herb.
In the US, they pushed for cannabis to be passed as a 'Schedule 1' -- far more dangerous than cocaine according to them. You know why they pushed for that? Drugs under SCHEDULE 1 is not legal even for medical research (unlike lower levels). There is a conspiracy to keep the benefits of cannabis away from the public.
Today, it is a good news that America is rectifying this mistake and many of its states have now legalized cannabis. Did you know that cannabis has been linked to ZERO deaths in the whole history of mankind??? The World Health Organization has SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN that cannabis has zero negative effects and no history of death was ever recorded compared to tobacco and alcohol. Cannabis is also proven to be non-addictive.
Pharma companies today are tapping into this sacred herb to treat cancer, Alzheimer's, seizures, and many other diseases and proven to be very effective than any other medicine.
Even in China, while cannabis is limited/restricted there, it has contributed to so much economic gain to them thanks to this herb. They produce and sell this herb for pharmaceutical companies and other purposes.
Philippines, if we will wait for 100 years to make our own scientific studies when there are already tons and tons of proof out there... when lawmakers are aware of how many lives it can save... and yet everyone is just putting this sacred herb aside and focusing more on petty/stupid laws that don't have positive impacts on people's lives -- they should feel guilty because these deaths are blood on their hands!
And to us, the public -- let us all please open our minds. We have been brainwashed for the past 100 years because of selfish political propaganda. It is now time for us to look back at what lost bits of history reveals to us. Cannabis is not bad. It is a sacred herb that will heal the nation.
