Fashion 21 announced this (then) new product, the Fashion 21 Pressed Powder with Cucumber Extract and Lemon Grass Oil, on 19 November 2022. I scrambled to buy this in Gateway Mall two days later.

The product has a green casing to match the cucumber theme. Powder only has a mild powder scent and is creamy with super fine particles. Innovative their use of uncommon ingredients like cucumber extract and lemongrass oil.

This pressed powder provides a light coverage, does not look chalky applied on bare skin, but looks like a dreamy soft filter when used with a face lotion such as my favorite Silka Age Defying Lotion with Jojoba Oil. The pressed powder leaves a natural-looking shine-free face for hours on a warm sunny day. Oil control is good and I did not have any skin breakouts from using it.

It is available in 3 shades. In 2014, I bought the darkest shade #3, and it gave a somewhat orange-tan. It is more suitable for tan morena skin tone. This year 2022, I bought my second compact after 8 years, and picked shade #1. Surprisingly, this shade perfectly matched my skin tone, which has a slightly warm honey beige tone. The shades are intended for the typical Filipino skin tone, but not for those really pale light skin tone.

I'm a fan of Fashion 21 products... they have several variants of their two way cake for those who need coverage, but if you simply need oil control on your face, look for the Fashion 21 Pressed Powder with Cucumber Extract and Lemon Grass Oil.
