Mochi Ice Cream
|
27 September 2015. Has anyone been to Dezato Mochi Cafe? People are mad for their mochi balls!!!
They're located in a serene neighborhood at
#100 Hemady Street (a few steps away from E. Rogriguez, Sr.) in Quezon City. It's just the perfect place for us to hang out, chill and relax, because they're located near schools, offices and the main road.
They have a new lineup of menu featuring Vietnamese food. The highlight are the awesome Vietnamese sandwiches called
Banh Mi, which the National Geographic ranked as among the top 15 most delicious sandwiches in the world. I loved them so much and can only agree.

The
Banh Mi come in 6 flavors: Ham, Grilled Pork, Grilled Chicken, Tofu, Longganisa with Egg, and Beef Tapa with Egg. You can upgrade to Super Banh Mi. The other Vietnamese food being offered are
Vietnamese Iced Coffee and
Spring Rolls, which are very soft and have detoxifying effects with the black mushrooms.

Filipino favorites are also present, as we have tried their
Bacon Slabs with Egg and
Adobo Flakes. Oh my, the bacon... have you tried them? If not, you better look for these!

Pasta lovers can also try their
Shrimp Pasta with Bread and
Longganisa Liver Pasta with Bread. Both of them were such awesome addition to our lunch, we couldn't decide which of the two were our favorites.

Then, there's also the
Squash Soup, which is a healthy way to end our lunch. It's rich in Vitamin A and other nutrients and it's good for the eyes.
For the last part, desserts -- are the specialties of the house, namely the
Frozen Brazo, the
Mochi Truffles and the
Mochi Ice Cream. Lovers of sweets will really enjoy them since they're full of flavor. The truffles are best eaten whole, and you can taste the strong chocolate flavor. The mochi ice cream were also very flavorful... I'd love for you to try the Green Tea, Dark Chocolate and Salted variants.

It's hard to name favorites with all the good food there. But you must check out their offering of Vietnamese food. We had an awesome lunch at
Dezato Mochi Cafe located at #100 Hemady Street, near E. Rodriguez Sr. in Quezon City. It's very accessible and the neighborhood is serene. Hope you could drop by one of these days!
