This lipstick was bought in December of 2012. I was looking for Velvet Nude but it was not available on separate occasions. So the shades I got were Red Wine, Caramel Sugar, and Red Pepper. The packaging is very simple but neat, and the bullet has a creamy texture without being buttery soft so that it would easily break or melt. It is very firm. It has a mild caramel scent, which is one of the things I loved here.

The texture is creamy matte and gives 50% opaque moist finish on the lips without too much sheen. You will need about 3 swipes if you want a pop of color to explode from your lips. It keeps my lips soft all day thanks to avocado oil. The lipstick lasts about 12 hours with a light meal, and unlike other creamy lipsticks, transfer or smear is only minimal.

Red Wine was my first in this collection. It's a berry shade rather, which disappoints because the brochure color is red-purple. That is the problem sometimes with ordering online or from brochures without testers available. It's a very safe color suitable for all ages and occassions.

The next shade is Caramel Sugar. Another 'akala ko' moment... my expectation was that on the lips it would look more like a nude pinkish brown shade. In reality, it's more like a cotton candy pink with a hint of blue. Another fail when it comes to expectation, but a good color regardless.

The last shade is Red Pepper. It's the brightest red and my favorite among them all. It's not so opaque to me and lacks bitch. It took me 3 layers to really make the color pop out. In the end, I was highly satisfied with the result.

This lipstick is a good performer for its price. The shades were a bit disappointing with regard to expectations, but they are good colors anyway. It's a little hard to find dealers, or you can visit their main branch along EDSA near MRT Boni. Or the most convenient way is to find an online shop to order. Very cheap but recommended!
