These beautiful brushes from E.L.F. Cosmetics were bought in July of 2012. They are all made of synthetic fibers that are very soft and feels smooth, unlike cheaper synthetics that feel very stiff and scratchy. Prices are very reasonable and they retail for PhP 250.00 each (2012). I've been using these reliable brushes for many years and they feel very lovely on my skin because of the softness and quality. However, the only complaint is that all of them had loosened ferrule (the metal thing that holds the wooden stick and bristles together) after prolonged use, even after fixing (the eyeshadow brush was the only one that was behaved).

Btw, these is ELF's 'Studio' line of brushes, just to set them apart from the regular ones in white color. These studio brushes are finer versions.

Stipple Brush
This is for blending liquid foundation into an airbrushed sheer finish. It is a mix of the soft black synthetic bristles and longer white plastic bristles. No shedding ever occurred when washing it. Put liquid foundation on the back of your hand. Use the stippling brush to dip some foundation, then lightly swirl the brush in circles around your face.

Complexion Brush
"This synthetic haired brush is soft, absorbent and can be used with wet or dry products. For best results, clean or wipe brush after each use. Creates an even and natural finish. Expertly sweeps powders across the entire face and sculpts features beautifully. Use with pressed, loose, or translucent powders, blushes or bronzers."

This is a multipurpose brush that can be used to apply setting powder or as blush brush. The bristles are odorless, super soft, and ultra smooth. Powder foundation suddenly looked even better!

Powder Brush
This brush has a solidly flat top. I prefer this more than the previous brush because it can 'blur' the finish and create a softer look. I use it for applying powder foundation and setting powder. It blends very smoothly, no falling hair.

Blush Brush
This is a real lovely blush! It is flat/broad on one side, which is what I use to apply blush. If I want a slimmer contoured look, I use the flat side instead, particularly for applying above my cheekbones.

Eyeshadow C Brush
"Helps create the perfect smokey eye. The medium sized brush gives more control for specific blending needs. To create the smoky eye, apply the brush tip on the outward corner of the eye by pressing the color in a C shape from the lash line up. Flip the C on the right eye so it creates an outward curve. Blend color inward for definition."

This eyeshadow brush does its job well. It helps create a beautiful smoky look thanks to the way it was shaped for precision application. It's very soft but dense, making it great for blending. This is the only ELF brush that did not have a loosened ferrule (the metal part that holds the wooden stick and the bristles together).
